Spiritual Life
Students at Saint Agnes are educated and nurtured in our Christian faith while promoting our Catholic identity. Saint Agnes School is one with and supported by the faith community of St. Agnes Church. Attendance at Sunday Mass every week is the source of our strength to live the Gospel of Jesus and the summit of our spiritual formation as Catholic Christians.
All Saint Agnes students learn the beliefs of the Catholic faith in religion classes and learn to live the Catholic way of life through opportunities to participate in daily class prayer, weekly school liturgies, prayer services, and various class and community service projects. Our school participates annually in both local and international mission projects during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
Throughout the school year our 2nd grade students are prepared to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist while our 8th grade students receive the Sacrament of Confirmation traditionally in the fall.
Our 8th grade class annually participates in an Insights Retreat each fall where they experience various outreach programs in the Diocese of Covington. The class also participates in a class retreat at Camp Joy and leads a Holy Week Passion Play each spring.
The Teachers and Staff at St. Agnes are committed to teaching, nurturing, and modeling our Catholic faith so that the students will embrace and live the Gospel values today and all the days of their lives.
