Academic Team

As a member of the Northern Kentucky Academic League, Saint Agnes sponsors a 5th grade, 6th grade, and junior varsity and varsity academic teams. All teams participate in post-season competitions, including district, regional, and state competitions at the varsity level.

Students compete in Composition Writing, Future Problem Solving, and Written Assessment in Math, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, and Arts & Humanities. In addition, students compete in Quick Recall, a rapid fire quiz over a mixture of all subject areas.

As of 2014, the Saint Agnes varsity academic team has won ten consecutive district competitions and sent competitors to the state competition in each of those years. In 2013, a Saint Agnes student won the state competition in Composition.

Our 5th and 6th grade teams consistently place in the top 5 in their competitions, including several first place finishes.
