Mission Statement of Saint Agnes School
Saint Agnes School exists to provide excellence in Catholic education while inspiring and empowering our students to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As compassionate and faithful Christians, we continue to pursue our spiritual journey, achieve our highest academic potential, and be stewards of the Catholic faith to others.
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Please note the information below about our upcoming prospective school open house. We have a lot of great resources that help "sell" Saint Agnes to families in our area but I have noticed that word of mouth from our current school families is one of the most effective. Please remind your friends and family about the open house and let them know that our door is always open for a tour for more information.
This week also marks the end of our first quarter of the school year. With the end of the quarter brings our winter weather uniform for the second quarter. In general, no shorts are permitted to be worn during the second and third quarters. Gym shorts may be worn under gym sweatpants and taken off during P.E. class. For more information about dress code you may access page 29 of the Parent-Student Handbook. First quarter report card grades will be available on Sycamore on November 5. To kick off our new quarter this Monday, October 29, we will honor Our Mother, Mary, in this Month of the Rosary with a Living Rosary prayer service at 2 p.m. in the gym. All are welcome to join us in prayer. ~ Mr. Hoyt

Fall/Winter Spirit Wear Online Sale: The order deadline for the spirit wear sale going on now is October 28 at midnight. The weather is getting chilly so be sure you and your children have spirit wear for the colder days ahead! It is a great time to buy Christmas gifts as well! This is the same online vendor, Idlebrook, we have used in years past, and is a different vendor from the apparel sold at Oktoberfest. Feedback has told us sizes run a bit small, so you may want to consider ordering a size up. All orders are final. I hope you like the selections as I tried to incorporate your suggestions and am always open to suggestions for future sales. Please note: the fleece pajama pants cannot be worn at school this year. All online orders will be delivered to school November 21. If you do NOT want your order sent home with your child because it’s a gift please email Stephanie Lonnemann at Kenning.firstname.lastname@example.org and those will be set aside for pick up at the school office. Here is the website for ordering: https://stagnes18.itemorder.com/
Oktoberfest Spirit Wear Items: Anyone still wanting to purchase items sold from Oktoberfest (two options of short sleeve dry-fit shirts - royal blue and raspberry; stainless steel water bottles; and royal blue fleece hats), we have plenty on hand. Just send your order and check made out to Saint Agnes PTO through kid mail to Lizzie Lonnemann-3Hill. All items are $15 and items will be sent back the next day (be sure to include your child’s name and homeroom). You may also email email@example.com and Stephanie Lonnemann will be happy to help you.
