Mission Statement of Saint Agnes School
Saint Agnes School exists to provide excellence in Catholic education while inspiring and empowering our students to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As compassionate and faithful Christians, we continue to pursue our spiritual journey, achieve our highest academic potential, and be stewards of the Catholic faith to others.
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
First, I would like to congratulate our 8th grade students and parishioners who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday night. It was a beautiful Mass. Please support these young people as they answer the call to an enhanced role as a member of our Church.Second, I would like to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy your time with family and friends. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school next week! ~ Mr. Hoyt
Odyssey of the Mind Coaches Still Needed: Saint Agnes Parent Joan Thamann has generously volunteered to coordinate an Odyssey of the Mind program. We have had outstanding interest as 38 students have signed up to participate. However, at this time Joan is the only coach and each team can only have seven students. We would love to be able to offer the program to as many of our students as possible. If your child would like to participate please consider coaching so we are able to provide this opportunity for our students. If you are interested in coaching please contact Joan Thamann at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spirit Wear Available Online: We have a new Saint Agnes Online Spirit Wear Store! The online store is open 24/7. From this online store you are able to customize over 300 items, including new designs, colors, sports/clubs, and logos. Your order will be shipped directly to your door within one week. Gift cards are also available. You are able to access the online spirit wear store through our school website or directly at https://www.rokkitwear.com/school/24334-saint-agnes-school.
Kindergarten Registration 2018-19: Open registration for students entering kindergarten during the 2018-19 school year is now underway. For registration procedures visit the school website at school.saintagnes.com and click on “Admission.” Once you complete the online registration, you will receive an email confirming your registration. If you did not receive the email, please log back in and finish the process.
School Pictures: Lifetouch pictures were sent home yesterday. Our picture re-take day will be November 30 for those who want new pictures taken and those who were absent for the original picture day. If you want retakes, please send your child's picture package back to the school office. Those students having their picture taken on November 30 may be out of uniform in "dress" clothes.

Product survey: Please help Saint Agnes earn money for the school! We are looking for 30-40 children ages 6-8 and an accompanying parent or guardian to complete an oral care (toothpaste) study and survey. This will occur on Monday, December 11, from 3:30-6:00 p.m., in Murphy Hall. The children may taste the product; if your child has any known allergies, please do not sign them up to participate. Each survey should only take about 15 minutes. So far only 3 parents have signed up so we could really use your help. The link to sign up is http://signup.com/go/QdeWjhA. Saint Agnes will receive payment for each participating child with parent. We must have 30-40 participants to receive a bonus for perfect attendance. The last session we earned almost $500 for the school. Product surveys are a great opportunity for us to help Saint Agnes! Thank you, in advance, for participating in our fundraiser!
Families Needed for Advent Candle Lighting: Saint Agnes is seeking families interested in lighting the Advent Wreath at Masses during Advent. The weeks of Advent are December 2/3, 9/10, 16/17, and 23/24. We will need 16 families to cover our 16 Masses. At Mass the family would come up after the homily to light the candle(s) for that week. If you are interested send your name and the date and Mass time for which you would prefer to email@example.com or call the parish office and leave your info.
Breakfast with Santa is December 10: Our annual Breakfast with Santa event will take place Sunday, December 10, from 12:30-3:00 p.m. in our school. Breakfast with Santa includes holiday games, crafts, a delicious breakfast, and a visit from the “man.” Registration is $5 per individual. To register please fill out this form with registration and submit them to the school office.
Schoolbelles Winter Sale: Schoolbelles is having their annual winter sale. It features 20-60% off select uniform items. Check out their online flyer at http://www.schoolbelles.com/pdf/Winter Sale 2017.pdf
