Mission Statement of Saint Agnes School
Saint Agnes School exists to provide excellence in Catholic education while inspiring and empowering our students to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As compassionate and faithful Christians, we continue to pursue our spiritual journey, achieve our highest academic potential, and be stewards of the Catholic faith to others.
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Many of our second grade students have a very special week coming. This Sunday during the 11:30 a.m. Mass they will celebrate the Sacrament of Eucharist for the very first time. Thank you to Mrs. Liauba, Ms. Baker, Mrs. Dunn, and the entire faculty and pastoral staff for forming these young people to welcome Jesus into their hearts through this wonderful Sacrament. In addition, the second graders will participate in the May Crowning ceremony this Tuesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in Saint Agnes Church. I would highly encourage all of our students and school families to join in this wonderful ceremony and celebration. For centuries, the month of May has been a time our Church has honored Mary. May Crowning is a terrific time for everyone to remember her and honor her while also growing in our own personal faith. Many of our students, as well as parents, have previously participated in a May Crowning ceremony. This is a great occasion to recall those times as we celebrate Mary, the Mother of our Church. Please join us this Tuesday evening! ~ Mr. Hoyt
No School Friday: We will not have school this Friday as it is a teacher professional development day.
