Mission Statement of Saint Agnes School
Saint Agnes School exists to provide excellence in Catholic education while inspiring and empowering our students to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As compassionate and faithful Christians, we continue to pursue our spiritual journey, achieve our highest academic potential, and be stewards of the Catholic faith to others.
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I want to acknowledge our students and families for their contributions to our Advent projects. We raised $565 so that children at the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home can have pajamas and we donated 458 pounds of food to Be Concerned! I would also like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2018! I look forward to seeing our students back on January 3. ~ Mr. Hoyt
School Resumes Wednesday, January 3: School will resume after our Christmas break on Wednesday, January 3.
Late-Start Date January 10: Our monthly late-start date in January is January 10. Normally the late start date is the first Wednesday of the month but, with that day being our first day back from Christmas break, the January late-start date is the 10th.
Saint Agnes School Annual Appeal: If you would like to submit your tax-deductible donation to the Saint Agnes School "Fully Relying On God" Annual Appeal by the end of the calendar year, it is not too late! Donations may be directed to our technology program, classroom furniture, new student lockers, or our general fund. You may submit your donation online through this link or drop off your donation to the school or parish office.
Lifetouch Club Photos: Lifetouch will be at Saint Agnes on Thursday, January 4, to take photos of student clubs and teams. Students should wear their regular uniform on this day.

Pop Kick off Party January 5! Don't forget to RSVP to the Pop Kick off Party at Braxton Brewery. Email your RSVP to email@example.com and put your money in your child's book bag today addressed to Meg Koehl c/o Murray KR. It will be a great time to get to know other parents at St. Agnes. The Turkeys will perform and there will be an open bar from 6:30-7:30 (or until the money runs out.) Food will be provided by Substation II and Chick-fil-a and party people will get a glow bracelet. Thanks to Heather Randolph who created a power point and we will announce and explain the sign up parties for the year. The Braxton Brewery event is $10 per person and all money goes to the St. Agnes PTO. Contact Meg Koehl with questions and we hope to see you on the 5th.
Baseball: Registrations for baseball, machine pitch and T-ball are being accepted until January 30. Registration forms may be sent through kid mail, C/O of Brian F. in 5W. Sign-up forms are available here. As a guideline, instructional teams (T-ball and machine pitch) will begin practice in early April and games begin around the first week of May. Once the games start, practice usually stops. Instructional games are tentatively scheduled on Wednesday or Thursday evening and the season lasts about eight weeks. 8U - 14U teams generally start practice in early March (weather permitting) with league games starting in mid-April and going through June. Teams will generally practice one night per week and play 1-2 games per week (approx. 14 league games). Practice schedules/nights are not known until teams are formed and coaches are determined. Any other questions, please contact Paul Finke via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (859) 814-4979. Teams will be participating in the Crosstown Baseball League again this year.
