FACTS Payment Plan Registration: Please don’t forget to register for FACTS Payment Plan unless you plan to pay the full tuition by September 1st. The deadline is this Friday, so please do it today if you have not already. This is a different system from FACTS last year, so EVERY FAMILY must re-register this year for their preferred payment plan. All registrations must be done online by going to https://online.factsmgt.com/Tmg/public/AgreementSignup.aspx?t=3DG1M&siv=y and going through the setup steps. We appreciate you each taking the time to do this. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Bob Lynch or Michelle Kruetzjans at the rectory office (431-1802), or Monica Wainscott at school (261-0543). Thank you!

Way of the Cross: The sixth graders will do the Way of the Cross in church today at 1:00. If you can join us, please do. We rescheduled because of the power outage last week, and they practiced so much. We can pray the Way of the Cross after Easter, and recall the special days of Holy Week. Thanks.

May Crowning: Our parish May Crowning will be Tuesday evening, May 3 at 7 pm. We encourage all school students to be present, especially the second graders who just received their First Communion. Second graders are welcome to wear their First Communion attire.

2010-2011 Yearbooks: Last call for St. Agnes yearbooks for 2011. Don't forget to order your copy if you want a yearbook. Cost is $21.00.

Spiritwear Day Tomorrow: Students may wear a St. Agnes spiritwear shirt/sweatshirt with gym uniform pants/shorts or regular uniform pants/shorts tomorrow.

Change for CHANGE: Our school project for the Capital Campaign is entitled “Change for CHANGE.” We will begin May 1st and collect change….pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and any other change. Most of the capital campaign projects are to improve the school building…so it will be up to date and ready for the future. The school children need to be aware, involved and help where they can. We hope to collect $1,000 in change by May 22 and more in the next two years of the Capital Campaign. Commitment Sunday for the parish Capital Campaign is May 22. So empty your pockets, look in the couch, pick up change you find laying around and send it to school with your children for our “Change for CHANGE.”

Volunteers Needed: St. Agnes serves coffee and doughnuts after each mass on the first Sunday of each month. Parishioners enjoy this time of fellowship and we use this time to visit with each other, welcome new members, and draw for the 365 Lotto. We are grateful to groups that host each month. For two upcoming Sundays, June 5th and July 6th, we are in need of parish or school groups, or perhaps a group from a neighborhood, street, or prayer group to host the Coffee and Doughnut Sunday. If you are interested in organizing a group to host please contact Maggie Green (344-1525) or maggie@greenapron.com  for further details. Thank you for your consideration.

Around Our School

Did you know…the students in 4S have given a different kind of speech each month? This month’s speech was a demonstration, and each child showed us how to do something by giving step-by-step directions. The children showed us how to prepare delicious recipes, perform magic tricks and card tricks, use sports equipment, crochet without needles, create a variety of crafts, make seasonal decorations, braid hair, tie shoes, and play games. They were very interesting!!!

Did you know…the eighth graders had a wonderful class trip to Camp Joy in Clarksville, Ohio on April 18, 19 and 20? Despite the high winds, rain and tornado watch, the students were able to complete most of the scheduled activities. It was a wonderful few days in this outdoor educational center.

Did you know…we have over 400 pairs of shoes, boots or slippers to donate to others? Thank you so much for recycling your good, used shoes. Many people will be happy to have them.
