Mission Statement of Saint Agnes School
Saint Agnes School exists to provide excellence in Catholic education while inspiring and empowering our students to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As compassionate and faithful Christians, we continue to pursue our spiritual journey, achieve our highest academic potential, and be stewards of the Catholic faith to others.
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I would like to make one final "encouragement" for you to attend Steve Smith's “Social Media: Your Digital Tattoo” presentation this Thursday night in Murphy Hall at 7 p.m. Mr. Smith always has new insights into technology advances, social media, and how we can be responsible users of technology. Remember that students of parents who attend will receive an out-of-uniform day and all will be entered into a drawing for SchoolBelles gift certificates. Parents of all students, K-8, are encouraged to attend.
I would also like to encourage all who are able to participate in our Parish Mission next week. This will be a great opportunity for all community members to gather for one hour over three nights next week. The Parish Mission will be led by staff members at Dynamic Catholic and based on Matthew Kelly's book The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catholic. Everyone is welcome to attend. You can obtain more information here.
~ Mr. Hoyt

Service Hours/Volunteer Update: Many hands make for light work...and lower expenses. Each year we ask school families to log at least 20 hours of the service they give in so many ways to our school/parish community. This not only encourages each of us to give of our time and talent, but also help our administrative staff understand the many ways we all contribute to keeping tuition, fees and expenses to a minimum. This year, that goal is 5,000 hours from our 250 families. Thanks to those already entering the time and talent they've shared. Please be sure to enter your offerings through Sycamore either online or through the app. Your time and talent by the numbers so far this year:
- Total families logged in: 103
- Total hours entered: 3,608
- Average hours entered: 35
- Median hours entered: 20
