FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I would like to remind you that tonight, Steve Smith will be presenting to all parents about internet safety. Mr. Smith will present on the topics of how we have become a distracted society, consequences of sending inappropriate images, how privacy does not exist, and how social media and video games can impact mental health.
He will also summarize some of his discussions with the students from his presentations this past Thursday. Mr. Smith will present on the first floor in either the gym or library. If you plan on attending, please RSVP here so we know about how many families to expect so we can determine the exact location. I highly encourage as many parents to attend as possible as I believe the content is relevant for all parents. Remember that students whose parents attend will be permitted to be out of uniform on Thursday, May 2.
I would also like to give another big thank you to everyone who contributed to last Friday’s Big Blue Bash. To all those who attended the event, our sponsors, volunteers who served in any capacity, and especially our steering committee, thank you for all of your contributions to making the evening a success and a wonderful celebration of Saint Agnes! ~ Mr. Hoyt
