Thank you for your continued generosity to our Sisters of Notre Dame Uganda Mission. Tomorrow is our St. Patrick’s Day-themed out-of-uniform day for a donation of at least one dollar. And because of the warmer weather, I also announced to our students yesterday that they may also wear shorts to school! ~ Mr. Hoyt
SND Uganda Mission - St. Patrick’s Theme Out-of-Uniform Day: Don’t forget to bring in at least $1 for tomorrow’s out-of-uniform day. Be sure to wear your green or St. Patrick’s Day attire. If you don’t have any green in your wardrobe, wear your favorite color. All money collected will support our almsgiving project as we collect money to cover tuition for five students to attend St. Julie’s School in Uganda. We will have two more out of uniform days to support our Lenten collection - NCAA March Madness theme on March 21 and a baseball themed on April 4.
No School Friday: Remember that there is no school this Friday, March 15, due to teacher professional development day.
Fourth Quarter Dress Code Begins Monday: With this Thursday being the end of the third quarter, students may begin wearing uniform shorts again on Monday.
School Spirit Wear: Spring is here—spirit wear is too! Please use this link for online ordering: https://stagnesspring19.itemorder.com/. The sale is open through midnight on March 24 and deliveries will be made to school on April 15. There are still winter apparel options available for those who missed the last order, along with several new items that you can choose. Also, there are plenty of Under Armour short-sleeve spirit wear shirts that were sold at Oktoberfest, including youth and adult sizes in dark pink and royal blue. Price is $15. Service Hours Reminder: This is your quarterly friendly reminder to update your service hours. Once our out-of-uniform dates are finished for our Lenten collection we will have an out-of-uniform day for students whose families have at least 15 service hours for the year.

Marco’s Pizza Night: Mark your calendar for next Tuesday, March 19. Order from the Marco’s Pizza in Crescent Springs and our school will get a portion of the sales. Also, the homeroom with the most orders will get a pizza party. Congratulations to Ms. Baker’s class who won last month. And thank you parents for all the orders you placed.
Box Tops for Education: Thanks to all who sent in box tops. Special thanks go out to Ms. Wendt's 1st grade class who brought in over $60 worth of box tops and won the special treat. Keep saving those box tops for our fall collection. (Note: you also may send them to the office at any time especially if they are going to expire before the next collection.)
RSVP for the Big Blue Bash by March 22: This is the 19th Annual Big Blue Bash. Please keep our attendance up so we can continue hosting this event to benefit Saint Agnes School! The Big Blue Bash is Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Cincinnati Club. Use the Garfield Garage attached to the walkway for direct access to the second floor check-in table! CASH CASH CASH Early Bird Drawing: The drawing is this Thursday March 14, for the $5,000 Raffle. The early-bird winner receives $100 and the seller earns $25. Tickets can be purchased online at BBB2019.givesmart.com.
The grand prize winner will be drawn on Friday, April 5, at the Cincinnati Club. We are asking each school family to sell just ten tickets! Students in each family who sells ten raffle tickets will be invited to a catered lunch. Roller Skate Party: All grade levels are eligible. Drop your kids off and enjoy some kid-free time! Three hours of skating, a slice of pizza, and skate rental. Afternoon with Circus Mojo: Kindergarten-3rd grade students. We hope to see you at the Circus! Splash into Summer Pool Party: Calling K – 8th graders to come to Five Seasons for an end of the year dip in the pool. Five Seasons is contributing pizza, drinks, and admission for an end-of-the-year celebration. Bring your bathing suits (NO shorts or street clothing), snack shop money, and a chaperone. 8th Grade Basketball: Congratulations to Coach Arnold’s 8th grade boys’ basketball team for winning 1st place in the Heritage League Tournament on Saturday, March 9.
Saint Agnes Fish Fries: The Saint Agnes Fish Fries are here. Fish fries will be held March 15, 22, and 29. Food will be served 5-8 p.m. each Friday. Carry out is available. There will be fried fish with the world-famous Sub Station II buns, baked salmon, Marco’s pizza, and several sides. Come for the food and stay for the fellowship. The Fish Fry committee is looking for new people to fry fish, handle money, and for someone to take over the leadership of the fish fries in the future.
