Welcome to 8th Grade Earth Science

Welcome to 8th Grade Earth Science! 

This is a very busy, wonderful year. We cover a little Chemistry, Physical Science and a lot about the Earth. I plan on trying to do at least 1 experiment per chapter. In order to do this and cover the material required we will be moving quickly and all students need to take on some responsibility. It is necessary to come to class prepared, having all homework complete. We will go over in depth all homework given and the majority of all test will be taken from that homework. The hands on activities that we do require patience, cooperation, consideration, and following directions for all of us, both students and teachers alike.

I encourage all students, as well as parents, to browse the "8th Grade Earth Science" Menu which you will find in the upper left hand corner of this page. In addition, I encourage students to become very familiar with the Jr. High Calendar which can be found under the "Calendar" tab at the top of the page. This calendar will give you the big things in Jr. High, projects and tests.

Everyday Homework will be the student's responsibility to record in their  Assignment Notebook.
