Welcome to 7th Grade Religion - Mrs. Mullen

Welcome to 7th grade Religion!  This year we will be studying Jesus.  The religion textbook the 7th graders will use is Blest Are We, The Story of Jesus.  We will also use the Bible each week in class.

There are 20 chapters in the textbook. Each chapter begins with an introduction called Get Connected. These two pages offer families valuable suggestions to reinforce their child's faith.  We will go over this in class, but you are welcome to share this with your child also. 

There is a three-part approach to each chapter:  Share, Hear & Believe, and Respond.  After going over each chapter, we will have a test.  Students will also receive a weekly participation grade.  I will average these for one test grade each quarter.   

I think it will be a great year in 7th grade Religion!
