Wildcat Bash!

Wildcat Bash is usually held in May.  Any parent is encouraged and welcome to attend, help out, or just hang out and enjoy the day with your child.

We hope the following will answer any questions you may have so please read this in its entirety.

Here are some things you may need to know:

There will be mass on Friday.

Kids are asked to wear their gym uniform shorts, gym shoes (no sandals or flip flops) and any shirt they wish (no inappropriate sayings, tank tops, or cropped shirts).  Kids can be rewarded extra tickets if they wear something St. Agnes. (spiritwear, soccer shirt, gym shirt…anything St. Agnes).

Kids may bring a water bottle with them if they would like.  Please make sure their name is on it.

Please send desserts for the dessert walk on Thursday or Friday morning.

Grades K, 1, 3, 5 & 8 are participating in Session One (9:45-11:15) in the gym and outside on field, while 2, 4 & 6 will be watching a movie.

Grades 2, 4, 6 & 7 will be participating in Session Two (12:00-1:30) in the gym and outside on field, while 1, 3, & 5 will be watching a movie.

Kids will earn tickets at the games which will be put in drawings for grand raffles and over 200 smaller raffle items.

At 1:45, there will be an all-school assembly where we will have a year-end picture slide show and give away raffle items (over 250 items).

All new Spirit wear will be on sale in the gym throughout the Bash!

If you have signed up to work, you should have been contacted by one of us.  If not, please respond to this email and we will be in contact with you.

Lunch Information:

There will be a hot dog lunch from 11:15-12:00.  Please send in $1 per person.  We cannot take this out of your lunch accounts.

You may buy a lunch for $1.00 if you want one (we’ll have plenty).  Lunch will be a hot dog, chips, drink, and snack.  Younger siblings may accompany you, but will not be permitted to play games.  They may buy a lunch for $1 also, or you may pack them one.

Dance Information (grades 3-8):

Room parents in grades 3-8, please remember to send in drinks/snacks for dances.  You may drop them in the office at any time this week.

Dance for grades 3-6 will be from after school until 4:30, and the dance for grades 7-8 will be from 5:00-8:00.  Please be prompt in picking up your children from the dances.  No younger siblings allowed at dances. Snacks and drinks will be provided at 1st dance, and pizza will be provided for 7th/8th graders for working the Wildcat Bash.  There is no cost for getting into the dances or for the snacks.

Please remind your children that they are not to be “asking one another” to the dance. The 3rd -6th grade dance is more of a party.  There a tons of chaperones (at least a dozen), the lights in the gym are all on and there will be no slow songs played.  This should be a fun time with friends and we want to be sure that NO ONE gets the idea that this is any sort of “date.”

Students may change clothes for the dances.  Please remember to dress appropriately.

Children will not be permitted to leave the dance unless a parent picks them up.  They will not be allowed reentry.  Dances are for St. Agnes students only, others will be asked to leave immediately.
